We’ll get a briefing this morning, which should include details about how the WHO will use data to inform its recommendations, the organization said in a statement.
“This briefing will be made available to WHO partners and other stakeholders at an earlier stage,” the organization added.
There is currently no plan to release the report at this time.
It will be up to WHO members and others to work through it.WHO has been working for more than two years to draft the next edition of its pandemic strategy, which it calls the Global Health Perspectives 2020 report.
The report is the first of several that will cover the impacts of the pandemics’ global spread, and it will provide an update on the challenges the disease poses to the global health system, the health workers, and the public.
